Class 5 having been working hard throughout the Summer term on their SAFE Travel Cup campaign. After an original visit from The Riot Act, who performed their road safety play and completed a workshop with Class 5, the children worked together to create a road safety campaign which was strong enough to see them progress to the presentation event at the Victoria Theatre on Friday 30th.

In preparation for the event, Class 5 had to storyboard and film their short story. Their idea is based around aliens coming to Wainstalls but it is down to our children to teach them the S.A.F.E. Travel way. Class 5 also designed signs as part of their campaign to help promote the benefits of S.A.F.E. Travel to our parents and the local community.

The presentation team did a wonderful job at the Victoria Theatre by presenting their campaign to a group of judges and to the other schools competing for the prize of S.A.F.E. Travel Cup winners. The team were clear, confident and did the school proud. What's wonderful, is that every member of Class 5 has made an important contribution to what has been a fantastic campaign. Well done Class 5.
