Harvest Festival
On Friday afternoon our school once again enjoyed participating in Harvest Festival celebrations. Our KS1 children had a lovely time decorating and filling Harvest boxes and writing poems and songs, whilst learning about the significance of Harvest. Children in KS2 walked down to Mount Tabor Chapel and performed their class songs/poems and joined in with a medley of wonderful Harvest songs which the congregation certainly enjoyed. Thank you to Mount Tabor Chapel, and in particular Rev Colin and Margaret for once again allowing us to hold our Harvest celebration there. Thanks also to all the parents who attended and/or kindly donated Harvest food items to include in our Harvest boxes and in doing so, helping the elderly and vulnerable people within our local area.
