Temporary Teaching Assistant - Cover Maternity Leave
Required from: December 2024
Starting Salary: Scale 2 - £11.98 per hour
Term time only – 27.5 hours per week.
Wainstalls School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and talented temporary Teaching Assistant for EYFS to join our friendly and dynamic team.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
- Maintain and contribute to the ethos of the school
- Support the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum
- Ensure that each pupil achieves his or her fullest potential
- Carry out the professional duties that support the class teacher and Senior Leadership Team
- Accept reasonable additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team
- Take part in school events and extra-curricular activities

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS (formerly CRB) from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
